Following a convincing 4-1 comeback win over New Zealand, the U.S. The Olympic Men’s Soccer Team will play Guinea on Tuesday, July 30 at 1 p.m. ET on USA Network, Telemundo, and Peacock in an attempt to earn a spot in the knockout stage.
The United States would automatically move to the quarterfinals with a victory; alternatively, they might advance from the group stage with a draw plus either a loss to France or a tie against New Zealand. The United States of America is returning to the Olympic Men’s Soccer Tournament after a 16-year absence. They hope to make their second appearance overall since the group stage system was created in Rome 1960, as well as their first since the knockout round since Sydney 2000.
The Olympic Men’s Soccer Tournament gives some of the best young players in the country the chance to compete against elite opponents on the international scene after rising through the levels of American soccer development. It is limited to players under the age of 23, with an allowance for three players who are overage.
