This crucial victory means LAFC joins fellow MLS teams Inter Miami CF (who qualified as the host nation representative) and Seattle Sounders FC (who won the 2022 Concacaf Champions Cup) in the expanded 32-team tournament.
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is set to kick off on June 14, 2025, and will feature top clubs from around the globe competing in various venues across the United States. LAFC has been drawn into Group D, where they will face formidable opponents: Chelsea (England), Flamengo (Brazil), and Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia).
