The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), the governing body of amateur adult soccer in the U.S., announces the individuals selected to the USASA Hall of Fame, Class of 2011. The honorees will be inducted at the USASA Hall of Fame Ceremony Awards Dinner on Saturday, October 8th, during the USASA Midyear Meeting in Clearwater, Florida.

Inductees were chosen on the basis of having made a significant contribution toward the development and advancement of adult amateur soccer at the national or regional level. The Class of 2011, chosen by the USASA Hall of Fame Committee, includes: Dick Burns, Brandi Chastain, Casey Frankewicz, Robert Kepner and Hector Nava.

Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Bruno Trapikas, commenting on this year’s selections, said “All USASA members are most appreciative for the numerous contributions made by this year’s inductees. Each of the selected individuals, within their scope of concentration, has helped to shape the growth of the game and the growth of the organization in immeasurable ways.”
