ATLANTA, GEORGIA—To end its losing woes and add more energy to the team, the management of Atlanta United 2 has signed midfielder Tristan Trager. After a prolific collegiate career at U.S. Air Force Academy, Trager, 22, was a second-round selection for Atlanta United in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft. Deciding to finish his senior year, Trager joins the club after graduating from the academy on May 25.

In his tenure for the Falcons, no Air Force player tallied more goals, assists, or points than the San Clemente, California native. Trager was named Offensive Player of the Year for the Western Athletic Conference and First Team All-WAC for the 2021-22 season.

After two back-to-back defeats, the team hopes to get back to its winning ways by hosting the Loudoun United on Saturday, June 11 (7:30 p.m., ESPN+) at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
