The fullback from Paradise Valley, Arizona, has started every 20 Atlanta United games during the regular season in 2024 and has accrued the most minutes of any player on the squad. The 26-year-old is living up to his moniker, Mr. Dependable. Lennon made his 150th appearance for Atlanta United across all competitions on Saturday, ranking him fourth all-time in club history.
Carles Gil (New England Revolution): Whenever these two clubs have faced off, Atlanta United has struggled with the designated player from Spain. Gil scored the first goal of the game against Atlanta back in 2023, and he ended the evening with a brace. In the most recent iteration, New England’s lone goal scorer and 2021 MLS Most Valuable Player prevented Atlanta from keeping a clean sheet in the 4-1 triumph.
