The U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team secured their second consecutive win in Group A of the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship with a 3-0 triumph over Costa Rica. Following their 11-0 victory over Jamaica on August 5, the U.S. leads the group and has advanced to the semifinals. The top two teams from each group will compete in the semifinals on August 9, with the final scheduled for August 11.
The U.S. will conclude group play against Haiti on Thursday, August 8, at 11 a.m. local time / 1 p.m. ET. A win or draw will ensure they finish top of Group A. All tournament matches are available for streaming on the Concacaf YouTube channel and Concacaf Go.
Costa Rica battled hard, but Carolina Reyna scored in the ninth minute, her fifth of the tournament.
KK Ream’s pressure led to Reyna’s goal. In a 3-0 win, Caroline Swann and Kendall Conway added goals. The U.S. outshot Costa Rica 15-4, with Ella McNeal and Anne Fowler earning the shutout. The tournament, held in Costa Rica from August 5-11, marks the fifth Concacaf U-15 event, with the U.S. having won all three previous editions they entered (2016, 2018, 2022).
