The U.S. Under-15 Women’s Youth National Team secured its fourth consecutive Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship, dominating Mexico 3-0 in the final. This victory marks the U.S. team’s fourth title in the five tournaments held, with wins in 2016, 2018, 2022, and now 2024.

Midfielder and captain Caroline Swann, who scored twice in the tournament, earned the Golden Ball as the competition’s best player, while forward Carolina Reyna won the Golden Boot, leading the USA with six goals. In total, eleven different players scored for the USA, including Kendall Conway with five goals.

The USA dominated its group opponents with a combined score of 27-1, before edging out Canada in a penalty shootout to reach the final against Mexico. In the final, the USA outshot Mexico 20-8, securing a 3-0 victory with one goal in the first half and two in the second during the 70-minute match.

The opening goal came in the 14th minute when midfielder Loradana Paletta, the team’s youngest player, set up Reyna at the top of the six-yard box. Reyna’s shot deflected off a defender, landing at the feet of midfielder Mia Corona, who expertly maneuvered around a defender and drilled the ball into the left post. It marked Corona’s second goal of the tournament.

The USA sealed the win in the 65th minute when Kendall Conway sprinted down the right flank, evaded a Mexican tackle, and delivered a perfect cross to forward Mak Whitham. Whitham, who had missed the first two matches while playing for NY/NJ Gotham FC, timed her run perfectly and slotted the ball into the lower right corner for her third goal of the tournament.

In stoppage time, the USA added a final goal from a corner kick taken by Conway. The Mexican goalkeeper mishandled the cross, and after a scramble in the box, defender Meila Brewer poked the ball into the net, securing her second goal of the tournament.
