USMNT Fans Set to Pack Fado Midtown for World Cup 2026 Draw Watch Party
AO Atlanta hosts this event as Atlanta prepares to welcome multiple matches next summer.
Atlanta soccer fans will gather at Fado Irish Pub Midtown on Friday, Dec. 5, as American Outlaws Atlanta hosts a World Cup Draw Watch Party at 11 a.m. Supporters will learn the USMNT’s opponents for World Cup 2026 and which nations will play in Atlanta next summer. Truly Hard Seltzer, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Dos Equis Beer will be on site with special activations.
AO Atlanta is the local chapter of The American Outlaws, the largest supporters group for U.S. Soccer teams. The group meets at Fado Irish Pub Midtown for every U.S. men’s and women’s soccer game, and that hype will extend to the draw for the first World Cup on U.S. soil since 1994.
“Atlanta is the best soccer city in the country, and the energy for World Cup 2026 is already building. We can’t wait to learn — together — who the USMNT will play and which teams will come to Atlanta next summer. This watch party is the kickoff of an unforgettable moment for our city and its soccer fans,” said Bart Keeler, president of AO Atlanta.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 final draw will place the 42 teams and six qualifiers into 12 groups of four. Because the U.S. is a host nation, the USMNT is in Pot 1, and will be drawn against three other teams. The draw will also settle the schedule, including the five group matches and potential knockout round matchups to be played in Atlanta.
The watch party will take place at Fado Irish Pub Midtown Atlanta, 933 Peachtree Street NE. Fans are encouraged to come decked out in U.S. colors, jerseys and scarves as they watch the draw unfold on the pub’s large-screen TVs. AO Atlanta will host a charity raffle and sell supporter merchandise, while Truly, Jameson and Dos Equis will elevate the atmosphere with giveaways and activations.
The draw starts at 11:30 a.m. ET, but Fado will open at 10:30 that morning. Validated parking will be available in the Metropolis Deck. All ages are welcome; guests must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.
