ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Paris Saint-Germain has decided to infuse youth on its roster by signing into a five-year deal 22-year-old Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG the Ligue 1 club announced the signing of Donnarumma to the media on Wednesday.
Donnarumma is a huge boost for PSG since the former AC Milan player is a promising young goalkeeper.
The Italian goalkeeper made headlines in the recent Euro 2020 after he helps Italy won the title by saving two penalty shootouts in their win against England.
Donnarumma is very happy with his new deal.
“I am very happy to be part of this great club that is Paris Saint-Germain,” Donnarumma said.
“I feel ready to take on this new challenge and continue to grow here. With Paris, I want to win as much as possible and give joy to the supporters,” Donnarumma added.
